In efforts to provide our best quality of care, our Director of Nurses or the assigned social worker monitors the care of each individual and makes regular visits to the clients home.
Yes. In most cases there is a social worker assigned to the appointed school that the child is attending, however, if that service is not available we will make the arrangements necessary to assist while your child attends school.
Okija health scheduling is very flexible with care available 24 hours a day. Our goal is to meet the needs of our clients while putting them first.
In the event that an emergency may occur the Administrator and Director of Nurses is contacted immediately. Our staff is trained on a routine basis to make sure the correct procedures are taken during that time.

Our goal is to provide caregivers within the first 24 hours. At time’s we are usually available to start that same day!
Our systems our set up to scan all employee data information on a daily basis to assure that our employees are current and up-to-date with their training and certifications. Our Human Resource Department is notified if a caregivers information is close to becoming expired.
Our goal is to establish a long-term relationship with you and your family. If you should request another caregiver for any reason, we immediately search for a match until your family is happy. An important part of planning for home care is deciding how to pay for the services. We first set up an in-home consultation to begin discussing the individual’s care plan to determine what kind of services will be needed. A few things that we use to determine the overall cost would be the length of time we are providing our service on a daily basis, the level of care we are providing and the area/region where the service is provided.
Yes. Our vision is to empower our clients and families to be actively involved in the total care process which is why we encourage your involvement in the decision-making process. We assign the most appropriate caregiver matching the skill level, location, and personality type with the patient. However, if you are not satisfied we can do our best to accommodate any requests you may have for a change in caregiver.
Most home care services are covered by Insurance or Government Programs.
We carefully assess the patient and family situation right from the start so we can assign the appropriate caregiver to the client. To help build a level of trust, the same caregiver will be assigned for a particular home throughout the time of care, unless otherwise noted. We want to create a relationship with our patients and family so we can provide the most efficient and effective level of care possible.
We ensure that all caregivers are trained appropriately before taking on an assigned case. We provide a comprehensive training which is one of our top priorities. All caregivers are required to go through an ongoing competency evaluation that includes a problem solving session to determine the caregiver’s response to challenging situations. New caregivers are provided with a training program which includes extensive testing and pediatric classes.
